Sam started building web sites during her undergraduate years of college. It all started when one of her instructors offered the option of building and informational web site in lieu of a written report. From that project Sam gained enough experience to catch the eye of the school webmaster when she went on to graduate study. She was offered a position as an assistant to the webmaster in exchange for tuition. This assistantship gave Sam the foundation she needed to understand the do's and don'ts of creating and publishing web sites that are viewable on all platforms and operating systems, as well as the logistics of maintaining and organizing large web sites that meet all requirements for access.

During her graduate study she did an internship at the federal level. There Sam also got the opportunity to further her skills when the webmaster for the department she was interning for received a promotion. Needing an immediate replacement for the department, Sam was asked to step in and keep things going until a replacement was able to be hired. She did so well, that they offered her to stay beyond her internship to fill the position. From there Sam began helping friends build sites, and then friends of friends. Now, she helps all people.
